I live in Byron Bay. Everyone's got a MISSION STATEMENT. And the buzz is to do something that gives back to society... and I thought, "What could I do?"

And then I realised... Right now somewhere in Ipswich there's a housewife who deep down wants to put the kids into a foster home and take-up stand-up comedy!

But where in this whole wide world can this poor woman go for a leg-up in the comedic arts. So as a service to our community I decided to offer these workshops. Besides I'm a Jewish New Yorker and I love to tell other people what to do.
